With over 30+ years as a performer in music theater and contemporary commercial music (CCM), Sarah brings a plethora of performing and teaching experience as Artistic Director and Musical Director to Break A Leg Productions, LCC. Always aiming to bring quality training, excellence in learning, and self-esteem and confidence to budding performing artists, Sarah is the owner of The Voice Studio of Performing Arts in Wilton in its 22nd year of business, where she teaches and coaches students of all ages in private voice, piano, and acting.
As a current union member of Actor’s Equity (AEA) and SAG-AFTRA, and with professional membership affiliations with The National Association of Singing (NATS), The National Association for Music Educators, (NAfME), the National Dance Educators Organization (NDEO), and The International Society of Music Education, (ISME), Sarah holds a voice performance degree, a master's degree in Music Education from Boston University, and is currently finishing up her PhD in Musical Arts with focus on music performance anxiety among young adolescent singers.
As a singer/actor, Sarah toured as a troupe member with Bob Hope’s USO shows, sang with the Louisianan Worlds’ Fair, sang and danced in the national tours of “Ziegfeld” and “Will Rogers Follies” and has performed in countless amazing roles in regional and local musical theater productions. Sarah performs as a cabaret singer and produces for musical theater. She is currently the Executive Producer of The Wilton Playshop in Fairfield County.
A longtime resident and business owner in Wilton, Christine Titus has been bringing quality dance training to Fairfield County for the last 20 years as Owner and Artistic Director of Conservatory of Dance. Christine's vision and insight in teaching and guiding young dancers to excellence in dance has resulted in her students landing prominent opportunities in prestigious dance companies across the Unites States. Now, as Artistic Director and Choreographer to Break A Leg Productions, LLC, Christine provides young actors, dancers, and singers the confidence to strengthen and share their dancing talents on stage.
A dancer since childhood, Chris graduated magna cum laude from SUNY Buffalo with a degree in dance and psychology. As a professional dancer, Chris has performed in national and international theatrical productions, regional theaters, dinner theaters, cruise ships, and was a member of the Foot & Fiddle Tap Dance Company in New York and the International Tap Association.
Christine is a member of Dance Masters of America, and the Dance Studio Owners Association Inner Circle, as well on the Board of Directors for the Wilton Playshop. As choreographer for the Wilton Playshop, Christine won the Connecticut Onstage Theater Award 2018 for Best Choreography for WEST SIDE STORY. Other recent choreographic credits include CHICAGO, CHARLIE BROWN’S CHRISTMAS, and THE GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER.
